Managing engineering activities can be more challenging than managing construction activities. Activity scopes are harder to define, the level of progress is often not readily apparent, and the activities may be iterative in nature. The problem-solving nature of engineering can make it hard to plan in detail, because engineers don’t know the details of the solution until they begin the work.

In EPC and design/build projects, planners may be pushed to provide detailed schedules for both engineering and construction activities that go well beyond the level of design development available.

Join this highly informative webcast training to learn how you can develop a reasoned approach for the implementation of CPM scheduling on these types of projects, and the best method to achieve buy-ins from engineers, constructors, owners, and other stakeholders.
